On an autumn day a black dog (Quibus) bumps into a foreign object. While he is submitting it to an investigation, suddenly it inflates itself in such way, Quibus is taken high up into airspace. And from that moment on everything is different, because with The red Umbrella one ends up in the strangest adventures. Then you'll learn to dance on the sheet of cloud, you'll get acquainted with hungry alligators, will take a reassuring look in the ocean, you'll swing on vines on a scorching island, and tap on the North Pole.
The lively music theaterproduction is based on the picture book The Umbrella by Ingrid and Dieter Schubert. Meanwhile, for many people the little black dog has become a classic hero. The creators of The Umbrella have been taken by the red object in tow as well. Immerse yourself in the sonorous atmospheric music by Nicoline Soeter, the playful imaginative stage direction by Annechien Koerselman and the humorous texts by Floortje Schoevaarts and discover a world you did not know it was existing.
